August 28: The Fallout of Loss

This cold and disturbing film is one of are more art-house efforts. The story, if that is how one would chose to describe it is about a woman who yearns for the return of her fiancee who would appear to be missing.

This erotic piece is our follow on project from our early look at sexuality and is based around the Asia Extreme movement that is currently very popular.

We wanted to make a film with a sense of symbolism rather than a straight forward story. Many have critisised us for not showing in a clear manner, if the main character involved has a disability or not. This of course is one of the main points to this film.

We wanted to produce images which did not define its characters as having a recognised medical condition. By doing this we felt that we were not pigeon holing ourselves as people with disabilities and so people were forced to watch a film with one main character as she remembers in explicit detail the burning passion that drove the relationship with her lost lover.

The real reason for making such a strange and violently sexual film was simple we wanted people to ask their own questions of the narrative, and beleive us they did!
