Our beginnings:

Well, where to start. We formed as a filmmaking team in 1999 whilst taking seperate degree courses that seemed to have striking similarities. Our first real project together took the form of a short film called Tuesday Night.

Taking ideas from a video installation we had worked on together we found common ground in our loathing for club culture and the forced sexuality it presented to us. Tuesday and I began talking about what it meant to be a young woman with a disability in clubland. Tuesday mentioned that many times she felt that she might as well be naked in a room full of strange men and this got us to thinking that we should make a film that made the statement about being sexual in a public place.

The film was shot on Beta in a closed studio and also in clubs around Newport. It was always meant to be an anti club culture statement but due to a mixture of ideas and the introduction of other parties into the mix, the film never really reached its full potential.
